Suchness (Tathata) brings clarity and understanding. It removes the sickness of the mind.

What is science? Science is a way to see things as they are and not the way we want to see them. Science is a way to see the whole existence the way it is and not the way we want it to be.

And what is spirituality? Spirituality is a way to see life as it is and not the way we want it to be. This kind of understanding (“Seeing the reality as it is”) is called “Suchness”. In Buddhist approach it is called “Tathata”. And this suchness is absolutely essential to see the reality as it is. And only this attitude can help us experience absolute reality, “Nothingness” or “Nirvana”. Otherwise, we are only projecting our own perceived reality. If we say the Sun and the Moon as Gods, then we are not seeing the reality as it is. Because the sky above them is holding them all together. And a far bigger law is holding the whole existence together. This way we only become biased and prejudiced. Our eyes and mind become clouded and we then see only a perceived reality or a reality that is imposed on us from outside. No, this is not suchness, this is sickness. This way we only become slaves to the concepts and remain far away from the existential reality. The mind is programmed by the past. And thus it is preoccupied by memories and imaginations. And suchness is the way to deprogam the mind of this past conditioning.

Let us see things the way they are and not the way we want them to be. Let us see life the way it is and not the way we want it to be. The mind is conditioned to see things the way we want to see them. The mind is programmed to see the life the way we want to see it. We are not creatures of our destiny. We are creators of our destiny. We can deprogram our conditioning. Let us design our destiny through suchness. Let us remove the sickness. And let us move from sickness to suchness to attain to enormous inner freedom. This is true empowerment.
